filtering.The major features of this new classification scheme are:1) A Feature may be compound and thus have multiple classifications. One of these
classifications is singled out as "primary" and the rest are "alternate."
The primary classification is only primary as far as grouping for display purposes. Any
product filtering or reporting or disclosure application is directed to treat all the
classifications equally.2) Features are classified at two levels - course and granular. For instance, a Maximum
Anniversary Death Benefit would be classified as a Death Benefit at the coarse level and as a
Step Up death benefit at the granular level |
