This is used to define any age ranges supported and min/max amounts, units or percentages
that are available for that particular age range. The minimum and maximum ages represented in the collection of AgeAmtProducts at this level
must follow these rules:- must be an exact match with those defined on the higher level,.- when AgeAmtProduct is utilized, users must assume that the higher level will be ignored by
the receiver,- no age may reside in more than 1 band,- age bands must be placed in a contiguous and ascending order. If no breakdown by age and amounts are needed, then the correlating min/max properties at
the higher level (i.e. parent aggregate) are to be used and this aggregate omitted.Consider the following use case - a rider is available for insureds whose issue age is
between 0 and 48. However, it further specifies the following age range limits on the amount
of the rider:- When Age At Issue is 0-21, Multiple is 500% (5X) of face amount- When Age At Issue is 22-37, Multiple is 200% (2X) of face amount- When Age At Issue is 38-48, Multiple is 100% (1X) of face amountThis aggregate would be used to show those age bands and limits. |
