| This is used to record the date a commission is earned (but not yet paid) by a producer (agent/broker).It is used to support a need to show both historical and pending commission statements for all policies for each agent/broker within an agency. TransactionDate on CommissionDetail supports the historical perspective of when Commissions are paid. CommissionEarnedDate is intended to automatically capture from a back end system when a business event occurred that created a new commission for an Agent. Application programs could then subsequently find which commission are pending for each agent/broker by comparing the CommissionEarnedDate with an input date such as the current date to find all commissions with a more recent date value. |
