| Indicates the modified endowment contract (MEC) status of the policy at issue.This property is used when the product designer has determined in advance the outcome of 7-pay testing for all possible holdings of this product by virtue of the product design. This can occur if all holdings can never be MECs (e.g. term life) or if all holdings will always be MECs (e.g. single pay life). These are exceptional cases; in most cases separate 7-pay testing will be required for each actual holding. |
