| Provides for a request of a specific policy effective date (Policy\EffDate), which may include a forward or back dated policy effective date. This is mutually exclusive to BackDateType (e.g. Save Age). RequestedPolDate is not used to backdate the policy effective date where the applicant(s) requests the policy be backdated (for the reason stated in BackDateType) AND the carrier is expected to determine what the policy effective date will be based on their own procedural rules. The carrier has not necessarily agreed to affect the policy effective date based on this request. See also RequestedIssueDate.
