| Reference to the producer agreement for the writing agent, under which agreement the policy was written. This is useful in situations where the writing agent and the paid producer are not the same, and where there may be no commission being paid to the writing agent by the carrier. This may be due to an assignment of commissions, or due to some other selling agreement. It allows the inclusion of the writing agent in the producer hierarchy associated with a particular holding or commission transaction. The WritingProducerAgreementID will identify the parties participating in the hierarchy chain by way of the relationships of the ProducerAgreements to each other and to the CarrierAppointment(s). |
