The schedule is established at loan closing and the buydown payments are used to reduce the payments for the borrower during the first few years of a loan. The schedule outlines the duration of the buydown amounts, when they change and/or end.

BuydownScheduleAdjustmentPercentThe effective reduction against the initial note rate while this buydown payment is in effective.A data type of Percent SHOULD identify a number value that is in the subset of real numbers expressible by decimal numerals and represents a value that is scaled upward by 100 so that 1/100 is represented by 1. It MAY contain a single decimal point as punctuation. The decimal point is ALWAYS the US nationalization character (.) in the designated character encoding (UTF-8 assumed when not stated.) It SHOULD be able to contain at least 18 digits. EXAMPLE: A Tax Rate Percent for a rate of .055 be expressed as "5.5".
BuydownSchedulePeriodicPaymentAmountThe amount of buydown for each payment per the buydown schedule.A data type of Amount SHOULD identify a number value that is an amount of money and MAY have a CurrencyURI attribute. It SHALL NOT contain any punctuation other than the decimal point or sign values. The decimal point is ALWAYS the US nationalization character (.) in the designated character encoding (UTF-8 assumed when not stated ) It SHOULD be able to contain at least 18 digits. EXAMPLE: An Unpaid Principle Balance Amount of $100,000.12 would be expressed as "100000.12".
BuydownSchedulePeriodicPaymentEffectiveDateThe first date the specific buydown payment becomes effective.A data type of Date SHOULD identify a data point that represents numerically a specific year, month and year, or day month and year of the Gregorian Calendar.
