Container for the flight segment data plus the MarriageGrp.

Definition
The flight segment information contained in the passenger's current booking.

Elements
ArrivalAirportArrival point of flight segment.
BookingClassAvailsA collection of availability counts per booking class.
CommentFree text information that the marketing carrier may send about this flight.Textual information to provide descriptions and/or additional information.
DepartureAirportDeparture point of flight segment.
EquipmentThe type of equipment used for the flight.Specifies the aircraft equipment type.
MarketingAirlineThe marketing airline. This is required for use with scheduled airline messages but may be omitted for requests by tour operators.
MarriageGrpMany airlines link connection flights together by terming them married segments. When two or more segments are married, they must be processed as one unit. The segments must be moved, cancelled, and/or priced together. The value of the marriage group must be the same for all segments.
OperatingAirlineThe operating airline of the flight if it is a codeshare flight.Identifies the operating carrier and flight number.
StopLocationA location where the flight is scheduled to stop en route to its destination for this flight segment.
TPA_ExtensionsA placeholder in the schema to allow for additional elements and attributes to be included per Trading Partner Agreement (TPA).Allows extensions to be added to the OpenTravel specification per trading partner agreement.

Attributes
ArrivalDateTimeSpecifies the arrival date and time of a flight.
ConnectionTypeUsed to provide the type of connection for this flight segment.Used for Character Strings, length 0 to 8.
DateChangeNbrThe number of days by which the flight's arrival date differs from its departure date (e.g., +1, -1).
DepartureDateTimeThe date and time of the flight segment departure.
DepartureDayThe day of the week of the departure.
DistanceMiles acquired per flight segment, usually used for earning of frequent flyer miles.
E_TicketEligibilitySpecifies whether a flight segment is eligible for electronic ticketing.
FareBasisCodeThe fare basis code for this flight leg.
FlightNumberThe flight number of the flight. This is required for use with scheduled airline messages but may be omitted for requests by tour operators.Identifies a flight number (1 to 4 numbers followed by optional uppercase A - Z, which specifies an operational suffix) or OPEN or ARNK.
FlownMileageQtyThe quantity of flown miles associated with this segment.
GovernmentApprovalIndWhen true, indicates that the flight is subject to government approval.
GovernmentApprovalTextProvides additional information concerning the flight being subject to government approval.
InfoSourceUsed to specify the source of the data being exchanged as determined by trading partners.Used to specify the source of the data being exchanged.
LineNumberA number that corresponds to a line in a previous response of flight segments.
MealCodeThe applicable meal service code for this flight.Enumerated List (Meal Code in brackets): Breakfast (B); Snack (S); Dinner (D); Hot Meal (H); Lunch (L); Refreshments (R); Complimentary Liquor (C); Meal (M); Liquor for Purchase (P); Food for Purchase (F); Cold Meal (O); No Meal Service (-). Alternately, a String of Length 32 can be used if the above list does not suffice.
NumberInPartyNumber of travelers associated with this segment.
ParticipationLevelCodeTo specify the level of participation by a vendor in another system. Refer to OpenTravel Code List Participation Level Code (PLC).
ResBookDesigCodeSpecific Booking Class for this segment.Used for an Alpha String, length 1 to 2 (for letter codes).
RPHReference place holder for this flight segment.
StatusCode providing status information for this segment. Refer to OpenTravel Code List Status (STS).
StopoverIndWhen true a stopover is permitted (airline display "O"). When false a stopover is not permitted (airline display "X").
StopQuantityThe number of stops the flight makes.
TourOperatorFlightIDID of a flight in the Tour Operator's inventory. This flight is not necessarily in the inventory of an airline. Rather, it is a code created by tour operators.
ValidConnectionIndWhen true, this flight segment constitutes a valid connection.
