Definition
A generic message, available as an action on several OpenTravel services which requests a server to cancel the booking identified by the UniqueID element.

Elements
CancellationContactPersonInformation on the person who cancelled the reservation.Name of an individual and appropriate contact information. May be contact information for the customer or someone affiliated with the customer.
CancellationOverridesA collection of cancellation rule overrides.
OriginAndDestinationSegmentUsed to request segments for a specific Origin and Destination pair to be canceled. Specific segments are requested by specifying segment information and specific traveler(s) are requested by specifying the traveler information.
POSThis identifies the party making the request. Trading partners may define their own UniqueID.Point of Sale (POS) identifies the party or connection channel making the request.
ReasonsA collection of reasons for this cancellation.
SegmentUsed to specify segments to be cancelled.
TPA_ExtensionsA placeholder in the schema to allow for additional elements and attributes to be included per Trading Partner Agreement (TPA).Allows extensions to be added to the OpenTravel specification per trading partner agreement.
UniqueIDThis allows a user to send more than one UniqueID where there is more than one UniqueID associated to a single reservation (e.g. confirmation number and PNR record locator).
VerificationThis is to be used for verification that the record being canceled is the specific record requested. This is optional and is intended to provide a more secure mechanism to ensure the correct record is being canceled.
