Description

FlightSegmentType extends FlightSegmentBaseType to provide additional functionality.

Type : FlightSegmentType

Definition

The airline code, flight number, departure and arrival dates, and the origin and destination.
(Defined in file OTA_ResRetrieveRS.xsd , or a file it imports)

Elements
ArrivalAirport	Arrival point of flight segment.
DepartureAirport	Departure point of flight segment.
Equipment	The type of equipment used for the flight.Specifies the aircraft equipment type.
MarketingAirline	The marketing airline. This is required for use with scheduled airline messages but may be omitted for requests by tour operators.
OperatingAirline	The operating airline of the flight if it is a codeshare flight.Identifies the operating carrier and flight number.
TPA_Extensions	A placeholder in the schema to allow for additional elements and attributes to be included per Trading Partner Agreement (TPA).Allows extensions to be added to the OpenTravel specification per trading partner agreement.

Attributes
ArrivalDateTime	Specifies the arrival date and time of a flight.
DepartureDateTime	The date and time of the flight segment departure.
FareBasisCode	The fare basis code for this flight leg.
FlightNumber	The flight number of the flight. This is required for use with scheduled airline messages but may be omitted for requests by tour operators.Identifies a flight number (1 to 4 numbers followed by optional uppercase A - Z, which specifies an operational suffix) or OPEN or ARNK.
FlownMileageQty	The quantity of flown miles associated with this segment.
GovernmentApprovalInd	When true, indicates that the flight is subject to government approval.
GovernmentApprovalText	Provides additional information concerning the flight being subject to government approval.
InfoSource	Used to specify the source of the data being exchanged as determined by trading partners.Used to specify the source of the data being exchanged.
ResBookDesigCode	Specific Booking Class for this segment.Used for an Alpha String, length 1 to 2 (for letter codes).
RPH	Reference place holder for this flight segment.
StopQuantity	The number of stops the flight makes.
TourOperatorFlightID	ID of a flight in the Tour Operator's inventory. This flight is not necessarily in the inventory of an airline. Rather, it is a code created by tour operators.

Parents
