Description
This aggregate provides the parameters requested/provided in a claims loss run. The receiver should respond with information that matches all of the criteria provided. It should be noted that the inquiry parameters available are extensive and actual implementation should proceed with caution and coordination with communicating partners is important.

Elements
AllLocationIndIndicates if the request is being made for all locations/sublocations.
AsOfDtThe date for which a status/snap shot of the item (policy, claim, etc.) is being requested.
ClaimsPartyThis aggregate contains information regarding any entity that has an "interest" or "involvement" in the claim, except for the adjuster.
ClaimStatusCdCurrent status of the claim. This uses the ClaimStatus code list.
ClaimStatusDtDate the ClaimsStatusCd became effective.
ClosureMethodCdThe method used to close the claim. This element uses the ClosureMethod code list.
CoverageCdA code that identifies a type of coverage. This element uses the Coverages code list.
DetailPaymentIndIndicates if the request is being made for detail payment information.
EvaluationPeriodThe period covered by the requested message.
EventCdA code identifying an event. This element uses the Event code list.
InsuredOrPrincipalThis aggregate provides information regarding the insured or principal on a policy or bond.
ItemIdInfoThe Item ID Information Aggregate is architectural in nature. It is used to identify an aggregate uniquely across transactions.
LocationThe Location aggregate defines a geographic location.
LossCauseCdAn industry code identifying the general cause of loss, occurrence, injury or illness. There are multiple sources for this code list such as the Workers' Compensation Insurance Organizations (WCIO), Insurance Services Office (ISO), Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), etc. The intent is to provide the general cause(s) of loss being reported such as wind, dog bite, harassment, slip and fall, etc.
LossDtThe date the accident, incident, loss, occurrence, injury or illness occurred.
PolicyThis aggregate defines the details of a policy. Specific aggregates have been added under Policy solely for the purpose of using Policy as a Resource in micro-services. In each case, a note has been included to that effect. For example, “Only to be used within Policy when it is being deployed as a Resource in micro-services.”
