| This object contains the information necessary for shadow accounts, also known as hypothetical accounts or simulated accounts. These accounts mimic the actual processing of the contract fund just as though the premiums were deposited, the charges deducted, and interest credited. However, the charges and interest are typically different from those applicable to the actual contract fund. The death benefit guarantee will be in effect as long as the shadow account balance is positive. |
