| The OTA CodeValue is the first part of the code pattern that is sent in actual instances. OTA Code has the format 999.CCC.X Where, 999=Code Value; CCC=Optional Context Abbreviation; X=Optional Extension Indicator. The Extension indicator X will be used when the trading partner-specific codes are sent. When the extension indicator is present, then the section abbreviation is mandatory to ensure the pattern's consistency. |
