 Value | The OTA CodeValue is the first part of the code pattern that is sent in actual instances. OTA Code has the format 999.CCC.X Where, 999=Code Value; CCC=Optional Context Abbreviation; X=Optional Extension Indicator. The Extension indicator X will be used when the trading partner-specific codes are sent. When the extension indicator is present, then the section abbreviation is mandatory to ensure the pattern's consistency.
The code value is the first part of the code table pattern. The OTA_CodeValueType is only used within code table xml documents. The actual RQ/RS documents will use the complete pattern OTA_CodeType. |
